The Concierge Approach

The Origins of Maestro Pet Care

My professional journey in animal services began in 2013, shortly after earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UC San Diego, with a focus in cognitive behavioral neuroscience. With a strong foundation in behavioral science and an unwavering passion for animals, I joined one of the nation’s leading animal shelters, where I cross-trained with departments across the organization and learned directly from experienced veterinarians and animal behaviorists.

Over the course of two years, I played an instrumental role in nearly 2,000 successful adoptions. I worked closely with prospective adopters to help them identify what they were truly looking for in a companion—while also assessing which animals would be a good fit for their home, lifestyle, and level of experience. I specialized in creating thoughtful, mutually beneficial matches—often counseling adopters through the emotional and logistical realities of bringing home behaviorally or medically complex animals. In most cases, I provided in-depth guidance on behavior management, medical care, and long-term rehabilitation strategies to ensure those matches had every chance to succeed.

After returning to my hometown of Los Angeles, I decided to turn that hands-on experience and academic training into something more personal: a business rooted in integrity, compassion, and advanced, individualized care. That vision became Maestro Pet Care, LLC.

What is the Concierge Approach?

The concierge approach is personalized, behavior-informed, medically capable pet care—designed for animals who need more than just the basics. Rooted in science and empathy, it means building lasting relationships with pets and their guardians, offering consistent, hands-on support tailored to each animal’s emotional, behavioral, and medical needs.

What does this mean for you and your PET?

Choosing Maestro Pet Care means more than hiring a pet sitter—it means partnering with someone who understands the behavioral, emotional, and medical complexities that many animals carry with them. My approach is grounded in consistency, trust, and tailored support that adapts to your pet’s individual needs over time.

Think of me as a highly adaptable caretaker, blending behavioral insight with hands-on medical experience. Whether your pet requires behavior-focused guidance, routine medical oversight, or a thoughtful blend of both, I’m equipped to provide care that’s informed, consistent, and deeply attuned to their unique temperament and needs.

This isn’t generic, check-the-box pet care. It’s about building meaningful relationships—with the animals in my care and the people who love them. It’s about supporting progress, honoring sensitivities, and offering a reliable presence when it matters most.

Feline Expertise

Cats often require a different pace, presence, and language than dogs—and I’ve built a reputation for knowing how to speak it. From shy and shutdown rescues to high-sensitivity seniors, I have a track record of earning trust where others might struggle to connect. My own two adopted amputee cats remind me daily that feline comfort starts with patience, predictability, and deep respect for boundaries.

Whether your cat needs daily medication, gentle enrichment, or simply someone who understands when not to approach, I tailor my care to match their unique personality, communication style, and emotional needs. My goal is always to minimize stress, maximize comfort, and help your cat feel safe in their own space—even when you're away.
